Third Day.

Departure form Carmarthen 9:00 a.m.

On this day,  we will visit Gwal y Filast, an inland burial chamber situated in a secret valley, surrounded by a circle of trees typical of a druid ritual site. After a long walk through some woodland we will encounter a clearing where the burial chamber is situated, creating an aura and a presence adding to the magical mystery of the site.

Later, we will arrive at Narberth.

And a visit to an Art Gallery. Then we go to visit King´s Quoit Burial Chamber, on the Pembrokeshire coastal path, on the entrance to Manobier Bay, which would have been an important living area going back to Neolithic times. Afterwards, visiting Nabs Head, St. Brides: a clifftop dewelling area, being the remains of a Neolithic living quarters, containing a group of circular pits, some 20 feet in diameter; with sapling stems supporting a roof of reeds or foliage and there is a central hearth. Possible not a permanent settlement but a transient seasonal one. A spectacular sea view and a coastal path walk takes you to this ancient site.  

Return to hotel for supper (8:00 p.m.).
